Here are five things I’m obsessed with lately:
- Physique 57
This class is by far the most challenging barre class I have ever taken, and I have taken many. I have always been regular of Flybarre, Pure Barre, and Exhale but I may have recently been converted to this studio. Physique 57’s fast paced small and isolated movements provide a more cardiovascular workout than the other barre classes I have experienced. You get the most out of your hour and your heart rate is up the entire time. This is truly a body changing workout. From an intense arm sequence to plié’s to your core work you will exercise every muscle in your body in order to tone and lengthen them. Most people do not leave the barre sweaty, but after this class you sure will!
2. Trader Joe’s Pumpkin Spice Cookie Butter
Who doesn’t love pumpkin this time of year? Trader Joe’s has an enormous selection of pumpkin flavored goodies, but this one just might be my favorite. A mix of pumpkin, spices, and biscoff cookies makes for a sweet and creamy spread. I love to swirl mine on fresh apples for a delicious and satifying snack.
3. Fall accessories: Hats
Felt hats are an easy way to accessorize your outfit. They’re perfect for chilly fall mornings and add a little pop to an ordinary outfit. I love pairing mine with flannels or dresses and booties.
4. American Horror Story Hotel
Last season I was a little disappointed with Freakshow. I found the plot creepy but boring and it didn’t hold my attention as well as past seasons. However, this season has pulled me in from the start. The hotel with it’s creepy inhabitants and gory past has already brought me the chills. The cast is phenomenal. Each character is chilling in their own way. Lady Gaga is as frightening and strange as you would have imagined. Not to mention, everyone loves a good vampire tale. Vampires have become a huge part of pop culture and this show plays on their darkest aspects of life.
5. PaleOMG’s Pizza Spaghetti Pie
One word for this recipe: fabulous. When Julie Bauer posted this recipe on her blog PaleOMG, it instantly became her most famous recipe. This casserole is made with spaghetti squash, tomato sauce and sausage is so flavorful and easy to make. It was only 5 ingredients and takes about 15 minutes to prepare and 1 hour in the oven. I highly recommend trying out this recipe since it is simple, delicious, and even low carb. After seeing countless photos on instagram I knew I had to give it a try and it did not disappoint!
