There’s no better time to curl up on your couch with a good book than when it gets chilly. Here are my top reads to invest your time in:

2. The Woman in Cabin 10 by Ruth Ware
From the author of In a Dark, Dark Wood comes another thrilling and suspenseful novel. Laura “Lo” Blacklock thinks she’s gotten the chance of the lifetime filling in for her boss who is on maternity leave. She embarks on the debut journey of a luxury cruise liner as a journalist with the intent of writing a travel puff piece meant to entice travelers. However, what she gets is much more than she bargained for. A murder on board that only Lo plays witness to leads her into a much deeper investigation. It happens to be an investigation that someone on board does not want her looking into. This book is guaranteed to keep you on the edge of your seat.
3. The Couple Next Door by Shari Lapena
What can I say? I love my thrillers. This suspenseful novel surrounds a young & seemingly perfect couple Anne & Marco Conti. They have a great life; money, a great home, and a perfect little baby named Cora. However, when they attend a dinner party at a neighbor’s nearby they return home to find that something horrible has happened within the walls of their own house. The detectives begin to focus their investigation around Anne & Marco who seem to be the obvious suspects. As the investigation unwinds, secrets spill and the perfect facade they have had fades away. Are they truly guilty though?
4. Hopeless by Colleen Hoover
Sky’s world completely changes when she meets the mysterious Dean Holder. She finally finds a boy that she is able to to connect with and has true feelings for; something she has never been able to feel with anyone else. She can’t stay away from him. The more she spends time with him the more memories from her dark past come flooding to the surface; memories she had suppressed. Soon secrets about her past are revealed, which leaves her feeling hopeless and flips her world and everything she knew upside down.
5. It’s Not Okay by Andi Dorfman
This is a must read if you’re a member of Bachelor Nation. Andi is infamous among Bachelor fans for being the girl smart enough to dump former Bachelor Juan Pablo on his behind on national television. She then went on to star in season ten of The Bachelorette where America saw her love story unfold with winner Josh Murray. Her story is a behind the scenes look at the show and what happens on and off the cameras and how she moved on from a break up in the public eye. She even divulges on her relationship with Nick Viall who is set to star as The Bachelor in this January’s upcoming season. I highly suggest reading this book if you plan on watching him take the reigns as The Bachelor this year!
6. The Secret History by Donna Tartt
This one is an oldie but a goodie. The story is told from the perspective of a student at an elite college in New England and tells the tale of a group of eccentric students, from which the narrator was a part and the events that occurred in their lives that led to a murder of one of their own friends. The story reveals the cause and effect of said murder and the lasting impact it had on each of the remaining students lives.
