Here are five things I am loving as of late:
This product is the Saint Theresa of mascaras. A true miracle worker. I have never met a mascara that has elongated my lashes to this degree. The brush reaches every eyelash and not only lengthens but curls/volumizes as well. I’ve found this mascara to be virtually smudge and clump free which is a hard quality to come by.
I have recently become obsessed with these bars. Although a little calorically dense for a snack, they are the perfect mix of healthy carbs, proteins and fats. My personal favorite is the Banana + Almond butter flavor. It tastes like a piece of banana bread. Dessert and a healthy snack all in one?! I’ll take it. These are perfect for a boost of energy before a workout.
3. Lululemon Street to Studio Pant II
These comfortable pants from Lululemon are so versatile, it would be hard NOT to love them. The name says it all. They are the perfect pants to wear going straight from an exercise class to shopping or brunch. These are suitable for running errands or traveling as well. When investing in something for your wardrobe, multipurpose pieces are important. You have to know you will get a variety of uses out of it in order to make the purchase worth it. No buyers remorse over here! I can’t wait to throw these on for my road trip to the the Jersey Shore this weekend. Travel is all about looking both cute and comfortable at the same time.
4. Runs along the East River Running Path
Living across the street from the East River running path is such a blessing. Whether it’s early morning or early evening, the views cannot be beat. Scan your eyes across the river to see Brooklyn, jog under the bridge, or people watch in the park. Any of these options provide enough entertainment to last you for miles.
5. Acai Bowls
I’m pretty sure every “basic bitch” is into Acai Bowls at the moment, but really who isn’t at this point? I am guilty of loving this trend. They might be popular for being delicious but they are also power packed with nutrients. Acai berries are considered a superfood, a nutritional powerhouse of sorts. They are filled with antioxidants and tout claims of having anti-aging properties. What makes these bowls even better? The toppings of course! This particular bowl was from Two Hands on Mott St. It was topped with raspberries, blueberries, cacao nibs, coconut, granola & goji berries. Another great spot for awesome bowls is Juice Generation (various locations throughout NYC).
