The warmer it gets, the more I’m finding myself gravitating towards blush and pink tones than ever before. I’m not kidding; blush pieces have been creeping their way into my closet! To my bank account– I deeply apologize but I can’t help myself. This look is one of my favorite corporate casual looks that can be be worn from work straight to happy hour. Who doesn’t love a good monochromatic look? The trick to making this look work was choosing this top from Aritzia in a different shade of blush than the fitted pants (also from Aritzia). The pieces being part of the same color family makes the look seem monochromatic without being too much. Another tip for succeeding in monochromatic dressing is to break up your look with chic accessories. I chose to go with a patterned neck tie scarf from Madewell, round aviator sunglasses from Ray Ban, and a pink & white Kate Spade purse. These accessories helped to both play up the color scheme and break it up as well.
